You can make little "cakes" (4 pieces) or giant rectangular waffles (2 pieces each). Cons: After cooking waffles 4-5 times, the white body of the waffle maker has already developed yellow stains from the hot air that is released during baking. The panel cannot be removed, and I have no idea how to wash it. For the time being, I only use a paper towel to clean it.
