The product itself looks thin. It's hard to describe when you don't have the actual product handy, but once I started loading it with items, the box no longer resists items pressing against its walls. In other words, let's say you put clothes in it: the clothes must be folded so that they don't cling to the box, otherwise the walls will slightly warp outwards, leaving gaps on the lid. You can stack two boxes of the same size on top of each other, the answer is usually no. It also affects how weak the walls of the box are. Any noticeable weight on the lid (e.g. 3-5 pounds per center) will cause the lid to warp and fold into the box. The Velcro that secures the rim of the lid to the side is actually stronger than the box itself. After you distribute the weight evenly over the entire surface of the top of the box, you can feel and see the walls slowly collapsing. As if the walls of the box were made of the thinnest pieces of cardboard that were put inside. The attached image is actually a basket stacked on top of each other, but don't let that fool you; this was only possible by placing flat boxes with toy figures on the height of a garbage can. So the top basket is actually supported by the contents of the basket, not the basket itself. While there's nothing on the buy side to suggest it can be folded, this poses a problem when it's used for bulk storage. And the last part is of course the handle. It broke with only 2-3 pounds of contents inside when I first picked it up. In fact, not every pen can be used in all three drawers. They will break immediately with any appreciable weight, so I ask that you DO NOT USE THE HANDLES IF YOU HAVE VALUABLES. When you pull the handles, a very distinct tearing sound begins. I'm assuming the manufacturer used the weakest adhesive since it took almost no effort to get the handle to detach from the bin. Overall, the first impression I got in the first 15 minutes of loading a crate was bad. That feeling got worse when I also bought storage bins from a competitor that were only $3 more expensive and stacked well with a significant (but logical) weight. I bought this product and another in the same week. I hope the manufacturer takes this rating to heart. It's a shame as it really doesn't look like he was even looking for anything. In short: - Do not overload the bin, even with soft objects such as clothes. Any pressure against the walls will cause them to bulge outward. - Covers are as weak as walls, so there's no hope of stacking them together. - NOT. I repeat. DO NOT use pens. They are held together with cheap glue. In general: not recommended.
