I was looking for protection for the ulnar nerve in my elbow after a failed surgery. This protective pad works better than any other protective pads I have tried. Most importantly, the elbow pain has subsided. If this changes I will come back and change this review. It's flexible, bends with my arm and covers quite a bit around the elbow. Some covered too little area. I tried this particular type of protection because I saw hockey players wearing t-shirts with similar protection on their shoulders. If you know hockey, these players give and take a lot of strong body controls without a lot of shoulder pad strength. This type of protection complements it.
