I used these to attach a flat 63" gloss black tool box from Northern Tool + Equipment to my wife's 2000 Chevy S-10 ZR2. I chose to use four of these on opposite sides to mount the toolbox instead of the Grip-Rite mounts. It is recommended that Grip Rite mounts only use one on each side and opposing slots on each side, as using offset locations may cause the toolbox lid to bind and become inoperable. I would love to use Grip-Rite bindings but according to some online customer reviews they can break during use as they are plastic. Dee Zee brackets are made of aluminum and have large clamp-like jaws for under-rail mounting and fit almost any truck.
