I bought this product together with the Santevia alkaline jug a week ago. The latter is half the price of Biocera. After the ritual of soaking the Biocera filter for 15 minutes and then placing it in the jug, filling and emptying the jug twice, I was ready to test the water. Please note that it takes about 30 minutes for the Biocera device to filter all the water in its holding tank, so you have to be patient. However, when I tested the Biocera water and compared it to Santevia, the Biocera water showed a pH of around 9, while the Santivia pH was acidic. Needless to say, I won't be using Santivia. I think you get what you pay for. PS I will buy an oxidation tester and let you know if it is not negative as advertised.
