I'm a hobby repairman so I'm definitely not as picky about my tools as a pro. I have a pancake compressor that is set at 120psi and I lubricate the tool every day that I use it. I've been through probably 6000 nails with this beast without any problems not caused by me. I've never had even one jam. If there is a complaint about the tool, it is the plastic rafter hook, which seems to break fairly easily. The metal link bracket is great for installing joist hangers. Tips and nails can be changed quickly and easily with no hassle with partially worn nail strips. I use DeWalt nails. For other lovers. I've only used finish nailers before buying so I don't have a comparison but it's amazing how heavy 8lbs can be when you're awkwardly twirling around studs and rafters with your arm to the side. It's surprisingly usable in tight spaces, but there are obvious limitations as to where it can be used, so I ended up adding a nailer to it. That goes without saying, but if you don't already have glasses, get some; Bits of plastic nail strip shards hit me in the face more times than I can count.
