I am using this to close a large door in my unfinished shop. In the past, several "heavy" tarpaulins have been torn by the wind. The thing is rock solid and I expect it to last a long time. The grommets are tighter than most tarps, giving you many more attachment points. This thing is THICK and really durable. I will use this brand and thickness if I need a tarp in the future. We strongly encourage you to do the same. ***** Update 11/17 ***** Tharp has been running for 2 years now and not a single hole, tear, crack or anything. There's little to say my store will ever be finished. But the thing is solid.
