I just installed this in a Jeep Wrangler so can't speak about durability , but something about the quality seems very high. I can say that this splitter works without any problems with the dash cam and the OBD2 reader (Sprint Auto) at the same time. The problem that I see in many reviews is that the wires are hard and the object may interfere with the driver's feet. It's hard to hide. The answer to this is to get the obd2 extension so you have more flexibility.
