Review on Plug Adjustable Ionic Room Purifier by Mike Hernandez

I would give this 6 stars if I could. Does as advertised. In fact, if the odors are not very strong, it covers more than 150 square meters. ft. I have 2 units for large rooms or to quickly flood a smaller space. Ozone is very noticeable, has a good but almost sulphurous smell that quickly dissipates after the air purifiers are turned off. Remember that O3 permanently destroys odors and mold as it is a natural oxidizer and doesn't have to run 24/7 like traditional air purifiers. I have excellent mold and odor removal results when the unit is left on for 1 or 2 hours with no one in the room including pets and then turned off before re-entering. It can take 30-45 minutes for the ozone to clear the air after it's turned off, but once it does, the air is very fresh and clean and the pesky ozone is long gone. If you want to completely eliminate O3 pollution, set your air purifier on a timer and turn it off 1 hour before you arrive. I have asthma and had no problem with eye or throat irritation when turned off just before entering. The air stays clean for many hours after it has been switched off. Unfortunately, the user manual does not warn about the irritating effects of ozone or how to use it safely. PS It makes a little static hiss at the highest setting but is very quiet at a lower setting.
