These 2" stainless steel fairing nails were used to install HardiPlank to 2x4 posts with 1/2" plywood clad. The nails were great. The only problem is that if the wire type is bent for any reason, the nails will shift and the nailer will bind. When you need to clear a nail head jam, disconnect the air hose, open the latch, open the nail tray and remove the nail spool to prevent twisting or damage while cleaning the nail head. As long as the sorting wire is straight, the nails will feed well. Always handle these nail rollers with care. I couldn't find plastic nail spools as they are probably too stiff. It's worth trying a different mapping method if you can find one. The shock wire is quite fragile for the construction site, so it requires special attention. It was a pretty decent price for stainless steel nails best for installing cement board. Hot-dip galvanized ones are acceptable and cheaper, but sometimes hard to find. They are also ideal for cedar fences.
