Review on 🔌 ELECTECK Indicator Decorator Tamper Resistant Receptacles by Tim Knoepfle

Poor quality product. Within a short period of time I bought two six-packs of these RCDs for a renovation job I took on. I contacted the seller and they replaced the faulty GFCI with no problems. As I had finished the job and after a few weeks was told that one of the GFCI units I installed was not receiving power (the indicator light was off), upon inspection I found the GFCI unit to be faulty and replaced it it with a new one if it were the same type. Yesterday I was notified that another GFCI unit from the same batch is not getting power (again the indicator light is off) and I found again that this GFCI unit was bad and I replaced it with another brand. So far, three out of twelve FI devices have failed. I haven't tried replacing the last two simply because I don't think it's a long lasting quality product.
