FIRST REVIEW ON AMAZON B/C I AM IN LOVE. THE PERFECT ANCHOR FOR LAKE TRAVIS, TX. Spend money. Seriously, I used to be the guy who circled the bay, fiddled with my Danforth anchor, tried to set it up, always looking for water less than 20 feet deep. BUT NOW I don't even look at the depth gauge and throw away my box anchor, feel it hit, add a little extra line, tie it off and forget it. If anyone is familiar with Lake Travis, we have a variety of sandy/rocky/woody bottoms depending on which part of the lake you are in. I take my friends to all the cliff jumps where the water can be as deep as 80 feet and anchor right next to them so nobody has to swim a mile to get up the rock. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend likes me more now.
