Description of Slide Anchor Offshore Anchoring Galvanized

MORE CONTROL OF PLACEMENT - Regardless of the water conditions, this marine anchor will set into any bottom condition with NO need for mechanical power from your boat. TOSS IT IN AND RELAX - Simply kill the engine, toss the anchor overboard, and it will set within 1 foot of it's landing. EASY RETRIEVAL - Just pull the line to bring the boat over the top of the anchor and the lack of upward facing surface area will allow the anchor to pop right off the bottom. COMPACT STORAGE - The best part of this powerful anchor is that it will fold flat for quick and easy storage. Simply release the stainless steel stabilizing arm and pack away in its ventilated storage bag. Storage bag color may vary. WATERCRAFT COMPATIBLE - This Lage Galvanized Box Anchor is perfect for offshore/sport boats measuring up to 40 feet, and cabin cruisers up to 32 feet.

An unbeatable anchor - I've tried MANY!

This is incredible. Anchoring in busy coves used to be a busy part of the day. I went so far as to buy a 45lb anchor to use as cargo. The bay is too busy to establish the visibility required for most anchors. This thing grips quickly, stretches easily, and takes up very little space. Definitely one of my absolute favorite products and highly recommended. Relieves stress from boating.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No performance

The best anchor! The Best in Rowing

This anchor holds our 26ft pontoon in place - and it does just that! Used several times and never failed. The anchor is easily released from the muddy bottom if you follow the instructions (pull the rope so the anchor is directly underneath and pull up). The anchor is folded and stored directly under one of the seats in our pontoon. Great purchase - gone is the disappointment of the wind picking us up and moving the pontoon at anchor.

  • That's Amazing

Read This The Best in Rowing

I have a 35 foot Chapar cabin cruiser that weighs 16500 and has one man anchoring. we are mostly on the lake but in some strong currents and stupid people who don't understand that there is no trace lol you know who you are. Anyway this anchor works great in all conditions be it sand or rock it's easy to stow and when it's down you're not going anywhere. We also have a 40 pound plow anchor for the front end, we use that anchor and in most cases we don't even lower the front end. Buy it, you…

  • Excellent Construction

A little uncomfortable when doing sports

The thing is reliable. I chose the big one with the red tip for our 242 jet boat, there's 24ft more, but I'm serious! cheese and rice! My wife nearly fell off the boat trying to get this thing in. 20 pounds isn't much, but if you can't hold the boat in place and try not to crash into the hull, it becomes difficult. bit risky! I think a smaller (or lighter) box anchor for my boat would be ideal. I also wish it came with velcro or something so it doesn't open up when you pull it in and out if you

The best anchor for lakes! Perfect fit for 24ft pontoon

Just bought a 24ft pontoon which prompted me to charter my Danforth 8 times on my first day on the lake with a light breeze in a shallow bay re-anchoring which ruined the fun. After doing a little research I decided to spend the extra money and buy this anchor. I bought a larger one because I didn't want another weekend to be ruined by anchor disappointments and the added expense is minimal. It worked great! I dropped anchor once! And even on a windier day, you don't have to worry anymore! I…

26 feet and 6000 pounds now stopping at a dime!

I have a 26" chaparral that is always anchored. No longer. Be sure to inform people in the boat before throwing it away as it will grab the boat and stop abruptly. It's pretty hard, but not bad. It actually folds up nicely to store in a small compartment. However, pulling up is difficult! You need strength! This is because it doesn't move, so you'll be dragging the boat to the anchor. Once you're almost directly over it, you can easily release it by pulling straight up. Also, it's flat on top…

FIRST REVIEW ON AMAZON B/C I'M IN LOVE. PERFECT ANCHOR FOR LAKE TRAVIS

FIRST REVIEW ON AMAZON B/C I AM IN LOVE. THE PERFECT ANCHOR FOR LAKE TRAVIS, TX. Spend money. Seriously, I used to be the guy who circled the bay, fiddled with my Danforth anchor, tried to set it up, always looking for water less than 20 feet deep. BUT NOW I don't even look at the depth gauge and throw away my box anchor, feel it hit, add a little extra line, tie it off and forget it. If anyone is familiar with Lake Travis, we have a variety of sandy/rocky/woody bottoms depending on which part…

Anchor works! for sports

Note. I almost never write reviews of Revain products. but I'm impressed enough with this product to leave a review. After several years of struggling to snag my anchors in alpine lakes, I "set my mind" on this anchor. rely on previous product reviewers. The anchor works. I struggled to get previous anchors to dig and hold properly in soft sandy bottom lakes as the winds increased during the day causing 2-4 foot waves that moved. The past few years had been marred by memories of Mrs worrying…

Stop looking for broken anchors and spend money, it's worth every penny.

Okay stop looking for anchors this is the one you will end up buying. Other expensive junk cargo anchors just waste your money and precious time on the lake. Yes, this is the most expensive anchor on Revain, but please learn from our mistakes. Anchor Lesson 101: You get what you pay for 100% of the time. You've just spent $30,000, $50,000, $70,000 on a new boat and spent some more to enjoy it. The only thing to describe this anchor is to tell you about our 25ft pontoon monster kite. It's a…
