So I don't have a suitable printer model. I have a Creality Ender 3 that I could probably get working, but I have a worse idea. "You mean the best idea, don't you?" No, I mean the worst. See I've been thinking. The laser is powered by a 12V DC power source. Do you know what else 12 volt DC is? your car battery! SO! With some servos for aiming and an old PS2 controller, all running on an Arduino Uno and some crappy code I put together, I'm almost done turning this into a laser turret that I can mount on the roof of my car . ! It will still require a lot of waterproofing, proper installation and fine tuning. Like most of my hack projects but once I get it working. I can't wait for someone to shut up! Sure, checking the brakes is fun, but when you start firing your laser turret, people will wonder which futuristic, time-travelling bounty hunter Terminator they just crossed! Do you understand what I mean? Something I didn't need to implement my much worse idea than putting it on my Ender 3 ♥ Meanwhile, with a little concentration, this thing will ignite the smoldering fire almost instantly! So yes, up close, as if used in an engraver, it would work very well on anything that isn't reflective. Or if you want to make some terribly dangerous and illegal modifications to your car, this is the way to go too!
