I love making sausages with my own hands and have for many years. I have always estimated the weight of meat when blending my spices and eventually decided to purchase a scale that gives me an accurate weight for the amount of spice I use in my 5 and 10 pound batches. This scale is perfect for my needs. I did some research before making the commitment and based on the product descriptions it seemed perfect, and it is! I like the zero setting when I weigh the bowl or plate I'm going to use and then get an accurate weight reading. The size is really thin and small which makes it very convenient to store and the price is perfect. Clean up is really easy and even easier if you consider before pouring food onto a surface where the zeroing function is a breeze. In general, I am very satisfied and very satisfied with the scale. I've told a few of my friends how good it is and encouraged them to buy it too because of the price, convenience and ease of use.
