I don't have dogs or kids, but I often have meals on my beautiful sofa so I need to keep it covered. This cover is really the nicest one I've ever had. It arrived quickly, and came out of the package smelling fresh, unlike some things delivered that come out smelling like gasoline or some other chemical. I didn't even have to rinse it out. It came with straps, which I threw away, because I don't need or use or want straps on my sofa. The cover has kept it's place without the ugly straps so far. It has a textured back which keeps it in place. I bought the blue color, which matches my sofa almost perfectly. I have a regular sized sofa, (68" ?) and it fits perfectly. I should buy another for future use while they are still available. One reviewer said it had a 'crunch' sound to it, but I didn't have that on mine. Love it! I will take it to the laundry when it needs cleaning so I don't ruin it by shoving it in the washer machine.
