Good grinder - except one thing
I purchased this grinder to use with a Oneway Wolverine grinding jig system. Unfortunately, the motor base of this grinder is unusually wide, which prevents the jig bases from being placed properly. I simply am unable to use the grinder for the reason I bought it.Nice grinder. It runs smooth and the light is actually usefully bright. The lamp's gooseneck also works well.If you have no plans to use a Oneway or similar grinding jig, then this should be a good grinder for you
- The grinder runs smooth and quiet. The light runs works great and is a huge benefit!
- The price of the Shop Fox W1840 is quite high compared to other grinders on the market
