Needed something to clean windows that didn't require spraying and didn't leave micro-hair particles like traditional microfiber lint. They have the texture of silk satin, so don't expect them to be able to absorb anything other than the condensate from your breath that you've blown onto the glass to wipe it off. Steaming tends to fog up from the inside of car windows, and these rags wipe it off quickly and easily, without streaks. I also found them perfect for my glasses. I rubbed the old pair fairly hard for a few minutes to make sure it didn't leave micro-scratches on them like some cheap eyeglass cleaning cloths made for wiping glasses. glasses survived. When I folded into a smaller square or rectangle, I found that it had enough support on the opposite side to not slide onto itself when I rubbed the glass with some pressure, which is good. I am satisfied with the purchase, I plan to buy more. :)
