Review on 🚴 Padded Riding Goggles by Pacific Coast Airfoil - Ideal for Over Glasses by Leo Govindan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fog proof, splash proof, quick rinse

I don't like leaving 5 star reviews because they tend to be useless and so are usually ignored. But these are 5 star points. I bought these goggles for cold weather PWC riding; a use for which they were not intended, but which nevertheless exceeded my expectations. I ride in salt water in all weathers. Salt spray and rain hit the goggles directly at speeds in excess of 30mph. The glasses don't fog up, but my glasses do fog up when I'm standing. As soon as I start skiing the fog dissipates giving me clear vision and no fogging issues. They sit comfortably over my glasses. I wear large-rimmed brake glasses, which bothered me. What I like best: no fogging. Comfortable fit over large frame glasses. Adjustable strap that stays in place. The strap has a buckle so you can "unbuckle" it instead of pulling it over your head (great if you're wearing a hat that's clipped to your head). Stay in place and sit perfectly without a helmet. Splashproof: Water does not penetrate the goggles and the foam seal does not absorb water from rain and splashes. Smaller profile than goggles but in no way restricts peripheral vision. I'm thinking of getting another pair with tinted lenses for sunny weather.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • New competition is here
