Works better than expected. Decided to go this route instead of wifi because we live in a thicket where there are more trees than in the yard. Ease of installation. Two spools of wire provide approximately an acre of coverage. No need to bury the wire when walking through wooded areas or along a fence. Lots of videos on the internet to plan this. The instructions are a little difficult to follow. I only watched a few videos before starting and went from there. The actual transmitter will open and you will need to set the range dial for the whole system to work. It's set to zero, so it doesn't work at all until you adjust it. I set it to 7 and it reaches 5-6 feet from the wire before firing. I also bought an extra collar and synced it to the system with no problem. We have two dogs over 50 pounds and they learned very quickly there without any training flags. Highly recommended!
