I'm really torn here. If you've ever played with standard N64 controllers, you know that a broken joystick means it's broken. I ordered these controllers. As you can see in my picture the joystick slides instead of being a single piece connected to the base. Now of course I'd rather push the joystick part (which could be reinserted) than break off and never be able to use the controller again. My problem with these controllers is that the joystick slips SO often. I'm in the middle of Mario Kart and the joystick pops out immediately. I have to pause my games when this happens so I can focus on turning it back on since the entry point is small. So I like that the joystick can be turned back on and not broken which makes the controller useless again BUT I don't like that the joystick can be detached so easily.
