The quality of this connector is excellent. However, as some others have pointed out, the connector wire colors do not conform to current trailer wire standards. I've marked the connections with an ohmmeter and I'm almost positive that everything is correct; .but you must see for yourself. You must therefore connect each connection cable to each trailer cable as follows: color of connection cable on the left, connection cable of the trailer on the right. See tag diagram for wire numbers: (1) white-white; (2) blue-blue; 3 - green-brown; (4) black and black; (5) red-yellow; (6) brownish green; (7) yellow-violet. I hope this is helpful.
