The cable replaces the old one on the boat trailer. Worked great. However, I have compared the pinout with the color code of the cable - this is not always standard. Saves connection time.

Excellent quality. I don't understand the bad rating because of the color coding. Color coding of pendants is hardly standardized (getting better, but not yet reached), and relying solely on colors is asking for trouble.

Unfortunately after spending some time troubleshooting I found that the color coding on this wiring harness is wrong. White is ground, which is correct, blue is trailer brakes, but red is left turn/stop, brown is right turn/stop, green works, yellow is reverse, and black is 12v, or at least on this tourniquet. I would not recommend this product.

As with previous reviews, the color was not up to standard US practice, although the power (black) and ground (white) wires were correct and had a thicker section than the others. The rest required the use of a counter and a terminal block. At the same time, the cable itself works perfectly and has the desired length.

This is a terrible product. I bought this to replace the stock trailer cable on a 19ft Big Tex trailer. The wire colors are wrong, so when I first connected the wire harness all my lights on the trailer were faulty (e.g. right turn signal was on with reverse lights etc.). I've spent hours fixing connections and matching the wires on my stock trailer to the different colored wires in the cable. Long story short, spent an extra $10 to buy a better product that's assembled properly.

The quality of this connector is excellent. However, as some others have pointed out, the connector wire colors do not conform to current trailer wire standards. I've marked the connections with an ohmmeter and I'm almost positive that everything is correct; .but you must see for yourself. You must therefore connect each connection cable to each trailer cable as follows: color of connection cable on the left, connection cable of the trailer on the right.
