I ordered a set of 24 Doodle Hog colors last December and was very happy with what I got (five starts!) so I ordered this set of 36 colors straight away, when it was on offer. But this one is a big disappointment as they are so different from my previous ones! I think they changed their formula or used a different binder. Loading and reactivating colors is now more difficult. Lavender is extremely difficult to use, probably because it contains too much binder. And after about a week, some of the paint started cracking and peeling! One of the improvements is that the paints no longer smell, probably due to the change in binder, but that could also be why the paints are now more difficult to work with. The colors are still vibrant and beautiful, but I feel like they don't blend as well as the old formula. I am only keeping the set for the shape and halves which I still think is good value for money. But I probably won't buy again.
