It does the job well but has a few drawbacks. The most significant of them is that the bit is slightly crooked (it wobbles). It's not a huge amount, but enough to cause problems. Luckily I only needed it to drill through the shifter studs so imperfection is acceptable. You can also adjust the length of the bit so it doesn't stick out as much, which will help solve the problem somewhat. Another problem is that it leaves a small footprint. This is probably due to the first problem with swinging. If it were perfectly straight/centered the stopper would not move and leave marks on the wood. However, the marks are very minor and can be removed with light sanding.
