A cat with kidney disease gets annoyed with the constant scooping out of the box. This litter is great because I never have to pick up clumps of urine, they soak up all of the litter without getting smelly (at least until it's time for fresh litter). Although it hurts to scoop out feces. The scoop that SKOON makes is very small (think of the scoop for small children's hands, which is only for cat poop). When you use it, you need to put your hands in the mat because the handle is so short. I just use a traditional pet store spatula, which works. The filling material is made up of large chunks so it won't fall through the holes on a traditional paddle. Makes scooping a major annoyance, although I don't have to do it that often. PLEASE make a shovel with a longer handle and a bigger shovel!
