This is a fantastic little lamp. It's heavy, beautiful and perfect for my bedside table. The tint is nice too and not so thick that I can't get a great light in the room when it's on (I use a tint lamp to have bright daylight during the day and warm, muted light at night). My only warning would be being overly aware that marble, as a natural material, can vary greatly in appearance. Unfortunately when ordering this online we do not have the option to select the specific marble we receive and I received one which did not spark any interest. The only mark in my case is a thin wavy line that goes around and ends closer to the front. So be aware that your balloon may not look exactly like the product photos or customer reviews. Hopefully, Revain sees that those of us who go bare coloration and maybe make some quality control changes to the marble cuts they use are more consistent. To be honest I would buy another one for the other side of my vanity. but I'm concerned as my pearl was so prominent and bare that the next one I got wouldn't look quite the same. Natural deviations are large except when overly sharp.
