Review on MH10 Rechargeable LED Headlamp By Ledlenser - Outdoor Light For Camping, Hiking & More by Adam Gray

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Powerful Headlamp on my review.

As a ranger for the Dyrt I periodically get to try out camping gear in exchange for writing reviews. On a recent camping trip at Desoto state park in Alabama I tested out the MH10 headlamp for use around our campground and on an evening hike. I will start off by saying I was thoroughly impressed with this light and the amount of power that it packs. I also really loved that it had a rechargeable battery saving me the hassle of having to bring along extra AAAs. The headlamp has three power settings and a focusing mechanism which overall gives you a wide range of lighting for different situations. It also comes with external filters for red and green light though I didn’t use those since they were a hassle to put on and I didn’t want to lose them. The design is very comfortable and I like how the heavy battery pack sits on the back of your head with a nice padding. I also liked the wide range of tilt you can get from the actual light. This headlamp is a little heavy for backpacking but really gives you an incredibly wide range of usage from low light focused reading to heavy flood light for night hiking.

Pros
  • What I liked was that it performed well, but not complex. I plan on buying one and giving to my brother.
Cons
  • Price point is higher than comparable models on the market
