It just does its job. We needed this to be able to plug in our appliances and coffee maker next to our small living room without all our guests seeing all the plugs and it works great. It can even hold a heavy power strip with my heavy MacBook charger! We held it against the wall for 10-30 seconds just to allow it to "cure" properly, but not sure if that was necessary as the strips were not included. (no cards, papers or anything about how to use them). One thing about them is that you want them instead of command strips. The command bars (for the most part) can be safely removed from the wall without damaging it. I highly doubt they will be the same. I'm crazy about it at the moment as we live in a rented house but we'll just pray and worst case scenario paint it over lol. Needless to say, the adhesion is VERY strong.
