Keep excess ammo dry! Or your photo equipment or whatever. Check your canisters 4 days after placing them in an ammo can or sealed box. They will likely look spinach green or almost black. They should be bright like orange Gatorade. Dry them in the oven, just put them on foil, no. need to be opened, bake gently at 250°F (nearest temperature 120°C) for 3 hours, give them a few minutes until they are comfortable to hold on a paper towel, do not leave open outside of the oven for too long. Mine definitely work because the next week after opening the ammo cans they were still orange. So everything dried up in the first few days. If after a week or so your cans are looking green again your box isn't sealing well, it might be worth checking. If you are concerned about waterproofing.
