Description of 🌬️ Reusable Chloride Desiccant Canister Dehumidifier: Optimize Moisture Control Effortlessly

【PACKAGE INCLUDES】2 pcs silica gel desiccant tins, 40 grams each, 160 grams total. The indicating silica gel beads are encased in a durable tin canister and are plastic sealed. 【SAFE SILICA GEL】Our silica gel packets are Cobalt chloride free, non-toxic and odorless; Safely absorb moisture without any chemical reactions; Safe to be used around foods and medicines. 【INDICATING DESICCANT】Our desiccant canisters contain orange indicating beads, they will change color to blackish green when they become saturated with moisture; Under a bright light source, the color of the beads can be easily seen through the indicator window. 【REUSABLE】When the color turns dark green, it’s time to be reactivated or replaced; Place the silica gel beads in a shallow container and put them in the oven at 250°F for 2 or 3 hours; If the color does not completely return to orange, sift the beads a little and heat for another hour; Do not heat silica gel to more than 356°F (180° C) because it will lose its ability to absorb moisture, and destroy the indicating chemicals. Beads can be recharged up to 2-3 times while maintaining full absorbency. 【PROTECT YOUR VALUABLES】Our silica gel desiccant canisters are ideal for protecting your important documents, tool boxes, ammo cans, weapon case, collectibles, books, valuable computers, electronics, camera lens, jewelry, photo album, leather items, shoes, jewelry, 3D printing filaments, spice cabinets, etc.

Excellent canisters, very hygroscopic

Keep excess ammo dry! Or your photo equipment or whatever. Check your canisters 4 days after placing them in an ammo can or sealed box. They will likely look spinach green or almost black. They should be bright like orange Gatorade. Dry them in the oven, just put them on foil, no. need to be opened, bake gently at 250°F (nearest temperature 120°C) for 3 hours, give them a few minutes until they are comfortable to hold on a paper towel, do not leave open outside of the oven for too long. Mine…

Reasonable quality for the price

This is a reusable silica gel container. It s cheap. Silica gel is not suitable for all situations. This is good for closed containers that are not opened often. Slowly absorbed (yes, absorbs, doesn't absorb). Containers are good. Joint gaps are not a problem. It takes a lot of force to separate the halves, at least on the set I have. I replaced the silica gel with 3A molecular sieves anyway, but I tested the silica gel used by submerging it in water and it quickly turned black. Very black…

these works. Easy to charge and reuse.

These are 3 cubic foot moisture control pieces. It's not a big area, but perfect for the fireproof safe of my documents. I bought these 2 packs and put them in. It's been a while (over a year!) and when I checked them they were dark green or black. I took both boxes and opened them. I then poured each box into a loaf pan (the kind you use to bake banana bread) and put both pans in the deep fryer at 200° for 30 minutes. The beads came out bright orange. The Airfryer is a convection oven and I…
