I got this for an experiment to replace mulch in the garden around my geyser. I've heard that Geuchera hate wood mulch and die off after a few years, so I needed an alternative. I thought blue. Started with 650 blue flat glass beads (10 packs of 65 at Dollar Store) but the color did not "flash". So I put this pack of 385 "gems" on top and now it's amazing. This is just a test area, but I think I'll expand and buy more now. At first I wanted to use dragon glass, but it's too expensive. Again, this acrylic material is not the cheapest, but it will do. However, I'm wondering how the acrylic will hold up to the elements. How fast do they dull? Also, I counted them and there were about 385 of them and the 1 inch length is also correct. I like it when the seller tells the truth. I will reward it with further purchases. Truth = Customer Loyalty.
