Review on Enhance Your Truck's Performance with Monroe 911255 Reflex Truck Shock Absorber by Zachary Ester

TO SOFT for Express and Savana vans

If you are looking to retrofit shock absorbers for your Express/Savana 1500 I would advise you NOT to buy these as they are too soft and cause a lot of tire wear. KYB gas-a-just is a lot tougher. My 2010 Express has 580,000 miles and was factory fitted by GM for 150k then these Monroe Reflex's were fitted which lasted maybe 30-50k max before I had to remove them as the wear on the tires they make ranged from soft to soft. Now that I'm using kyb gas-a-just. The only good thing about this Reflex compared to the OEM is that the bushing at the bottom where the 2 bolts go in doesn't pop out like the OEMs.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old
