Even an average student in an art class would have trouble reading this text. You don't get clear instructions, just professionally rendered images that you, a beginner, won't be able to reproduce. I should have known it was a loss when he started teaching you how to draw a coffee cup without telling you that you have to have a coffee cup in front of you to be able to draw. You should have just followed their extremely difficult instructions that will leave you frustrated, demoralized and ready to put down your pencil for good. Shame on these people who published this book just to feel like hot artists and leave the rest in the dust. I'm a total beginner, I think I can learn to draw but not with this poorly made book. Saying this is for absolute beginners and the title is misleading to the point of false advertising. I feel cheated. These people are dishonest. I wish them the best of luck with their high quality Rembrandt art that no beginner can replicate.
