Good news: it was for my own child, not anyone else's. Also, online instructions are easy to follow as I know what they are. The bad news: it all came in brown Revain packaging. As a gift that would suck. There would be no reference or allusion to the contents of the random box if I didn't know what it was. Overall the product is a lot of fun, but each design is meant for one-time use. Make sure you get it on sale or at a lightning deal so you don't feel cheated out of your money. My 6 year old loved it but we explained that she needs to work really hard on her design the first time as it will be a permanent design. She was fine with it since we knew it was, but if we hadn't prepared her, she probably would have had a complete breakdown if we'd known right away.
