I bought this as a gift for someone but I didn't think it would be so cheap, everything from the box to the plastic that holds the dryer, to touch. There isn't even any tape on the box so you can just open it, use it and put it back. Can't tell if it's new at all. Since it's so easy to just take it out, I tried it with just a battery. It works well, although there's almost no wind power, it's probably better to give up. It even vibrates a bit when you use it so your fingers might get numb from the vibration after holding it there for a while which is what you need as the air is pretty weak. I should have read the other reviews first. However, it's large enough to fit four fingers close together. I think the thumb should air dry? it's only an LED (no UV light) in the product packaging UV light is mentioned a few times (just look at my photos)! So is there UV or just LED? No idea! I bought it specifically because of the lack of UV radiation.
