BedTracking is great for a facility like the VA. They have been great to work with and the reports are easy to create. I don't like that you cannot save report data, only a "template" to be used on other charts. It's great to get a real time view of patient status. Having all of the "housekeeping" reports integrated into the system helps to see trends in housekeeping efforts. So far, everything has worked well. The system has been easy to train our staff and it has been fairly seamless to integrate with the rest of the IT. The system is a little more complex than the average system. Great for tracking issues like staff turn overs. The ease of use and the simplicity of implementation. It's a great tool for a small to mid-size healthcare organization. The customer support can be a bit lacking at times. We are able to track patient movement throughout the day for many different departments. This has made it much easier to keep track of staff and patient flow. It has also allowed us to see where we are using our beds the most, and help implement a solution to our problem.
