This is not the typical rashguard you get at Target for example. It fits snugly like a rashguard should, it doesn't fit loosely. My 5 year old son needs help getting dressed and undressed but that also means he's not going anywhere when he's swimming and active. It's more like a second skin, which is what I was looking for. It's not flimsy, it's of good quality and has great UV protection. If you're looking for a rash guard that's more like a shirt that you can put on when it gets hot or take it off when you exercise, this probably won't work for you. It's more meant to be worn and stored throughout the day.
