Review on 🍳 Cuisipro Stainless Steel Egg Poacher Duo - Set of 2: Perfectly Poached Eggs Made Effortlessly! by Brandon Selpasoria

Revainrating 5 out of 5

AFTER ALL! perfect design. Water runs down the surface of the egg for even cooking and is easy to clean.

If you haven't mastered the drip-swirl poaching technique and are looking for a gentle tool, two key elements: β€’ Water needs to flow from the TOP as well (that's what steam cooking pots and floating silicone molds mean) for even cooking cooked bottom and raw egg on top) β€’ Non-stick surface for clean layering on your English muffin Yes, you must butter/butter them if you want a clean rise. what you deal with ALL the poachers on the market, even the Teflon coated Calphalon steamer. Look, I've tried Revere's poaching inserts and Calphalon's costly: raw egg white tips. Pooh. Who are these people leaving bad reviews? Do they live in an alternate egg universe? They don't offer any better alternatives. This little gadget turned Eggs Benedict from a useless odyssey of disappointments into an easy weekly family brunch for us. We put 6 of these in a 3 quart shallow pot. For the perfect 2-minute Hollandaise, google Serious Eats. Perfect. As for all cleaning ailments: To prepare poachers, take a piece of paper towel and rub the metal with oil before placing the egg in the boiling water. Boiled eggs are easily removed with a spatula. We place the poaching cups back in hot water to soak while we eat, then sweep away any residue with a sweep of the dish brush. Added to the review after using it every weekend for a few months: I've found some more finesse on the technique. The eggs remain in the cups until the egg whites are formed. When I feel like it, I pour a little water over it to make sure the whites around the yolk have set. Then, while they're still submerged in the water, brush them down with a mini spatula for the last 30 seconds as they swim in the "wild" so they don't get overly shaped. If you're trying to impress guests, they won't know you didn't do it by hand. An added bonus, then there's nothing to rub on the cups because you've brushed them off before the egg whites have fully cooked to stick to the metal. Enjoy your meal!
