If you're working with a Honda/Acura K-Series, in my case the K20A2 engine, the installation portion of this tool is pretty much useless as the spring-loaded 'nipple' detent is also large to to properly fit the retainers onto the valve stem. This "nipple", which currently has no better term, should just be smaller so it wedges between them and pushes down, rather than snagging on the tip/top of the valve stem. I'd bet that grinding that nipple so it's smaller would work. However, the tool removal function works perfectly! Quality is generally good, it's a solid tool, but if your valve stems and/or holders are smaller (e.g. not a V8) you might want to look for another model with a smaller adjuster.
