I bought a 10 inch royal blue collar for my 4 lb Maltese and it fits him right at the last hole. If I buy another one, I'll buy a 12" in case it hits a few ounces. (His neck is only 6.25 inches long.) He's had the collar for about two months now and he's still in great shape, hasn't lost a single rhinestone.The blue is exactly the same as the photo, perfect for my fashion man.There was a problem with the choker so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The extra D-ring at the top of the choker (used to attach the leash) is attached with a sharp piece of metal that might cut (or even cut) my pup's skin.So I took a pair of wire cutters and cut it off.I couldn't cut the whole piece of metal without using one of the rhinestones damage so I put a small piece of tape on it to protect my dog's skin. This solution has worked so far but I have to replace the tape from time to time. I would recommend that the manufacturer get this extra one ien ring completely removed; Most people walk their toy dogs in a harness, eliminating the need for an additional ring.
