The problem with purchasing this item is that I didn't install the cartridge right away (because I bought it expecting my other cartridge would be empty) and when I finally opened it it was defective . Unfortunately, Revain's 30 day return policy had expired and I had to contact HP for a replacement. I spent over two hours on my computer and phone trying to get in touch with the right person at HP to get a replacement as the cartridge was still under warranty. It wasn't fun and I seriously wondered why I was putting so much effort into a $25 replacement. So keep this in mind - test the cartridge before Revain's return period so you get a replacement from Revain and not HP.
