Required to wall mount two monitors above an antique desk in our home office. That helped. A few anchor bolts and lots of measurements and I'm a happy camper. For installation I would recommend that you take care to align your mount at the same angle as your desktop. Mine was about 2 degrees off and I had to readjust to get it looking right. Level doesn't matter if your table is uneven. I hope this keeps someone from drilling 3 holes in the wall. I didn't have to use a pad with this product. I installed 2 HP 24UH monitors. Very durable after installation and the integrated cable holders feel very comfortable.
