Review on RB4089 Balorama Rectangular Sunglasses Black by Mike Carter

These are amazing sunglasses for an active lifestyle. They wrap around your eyes and have a good yet perfect grip. I am replacing a pair of 30 year old Bausch & Lomb Baloramas (same model) and they are just as good from a new manufacturer in Italy. The frames are a little shinier, but that's all I see differently. Polarized lenses are excellent - polarized to prevent glare and dark enough to keep your eyes comfortable. I love how they protect my eyes from dust in all conditions. When I bought my first Baloramas I wore hard contact lenses and couldn't walk the streets of Washington DC on a windy day without them. The airflow is enough to keep my eyes cool and my lenses fog-free when I'm working on hot days. I think it's retro, but I've had kids who worked in fast food restaurants who told me they "really like mine". Sunglasses! When I discovered that I could still get this style in a quality optical product, I was amazed. That's when I found out about the Eastwood Movie Connection. I wore this model for three decades and never knew it was a movie star. It really made my day.
