Review on 🌑️ ThermoPro TP22S Wireless Meat Thermometer - Dual Probe Cooking Thermometer for Grilling, Smoking, and BBQ by James Pope

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No range on the receiver

The receiver needs to be within a few feet of the transmitter to report the temperature, making it useless. If I take him inside, even if he's standing next to my sliding glass door just 15 feet from me, he won't be able to get a signal. Outside I can move 20-30 feet before he loses signal. I have to bring it back to a few meters to show something again. I tried replacing the transmitter and receiver with new batteries but that didn't help. This was my first chance to try the receiver, having bought it a few months ago in preparation for this grilling/smoking season. I've only used the station side a couple of times when my regular handheld food thermometer died. If that's all you need, it works well enough, but you can probably save a lot of money on a model that doesn't try (and fail) to work remotely.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok
