No more bruises on my shins

No one warned me that I would ruin my shins if I kicked too hard. The photo I'm uploading for this review is of me with an injured right shin after one of my first heavy Muay Thai sessions at the gym. I knew capes and mittens and bought a 12 ounce pair. Boxing gloves (I'm short) and legs? I did not know. When I started classes at the end of summer when it's hot and wildfires are raging, I didn't think about wearing sweatpants to class. protect your skin. Since then I've learned to train at 60-70%, but if I want to give 100% I put on shin pads!
