Review on Tacx Flux 2 Smart Trainer by Johnny Black

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Virtually no noise at any speed.

I originally had a Tacx Fortius which I drove for a couple of years but the noise level was unbearable. The bearings are probably worn out. I've been looking for a replacement for years but have always been distracted by the negative reviews from riders who have purchased the NEO. When the Tacx Flux S 2 was suggested I decided to take the plunge. The most important criteria for me were a relaxed ride and a film that offers a virtual tour of the European countryside of Tuscany or cities like Rome, Florence and Paris. Tacx offers decent customer service along with technical support. I would advise people to get a proper cassette from their local bike shop, install it and set up the bike at the same time.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • So far so good
