I have an older Jenn-Air French Door. The filter is easy to install. I soaked the filter before installing it. I spilled a few cups of water to rinse but didn't notice any particles or cloudiness. Water consumption has become slightly higher than before the replacement; I was hoping that a fresh filter would have even more flow, but I'm glad it's not less.
