Review on Schott Zwiesel Forte Collection Stemless Wine Glasses – Set of 6 Universal/Cocktail Tumblers, 19.1-Ounce, Tritan Crystal Glass by Johnathan Rothstein

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great glasses, you won't be disappointed!

If you read reviews of wine glasses and talk about low reviews because glasses break easily, you most likely are an aspiring wine drinker. The thinner the glass, the better. There is a big difference in drinking wine from a thin glass profile compared to thicker glasses. That's why thicker glasses are cheaper. They're easier to make, but only good for beer, water, and other non-oeno beverages. If you need something for wine that will bounce off your linoleum when you're too drunk to hold on, this probably isn't the best choice. But if you want to enjoy wine to enjoy the aromas and flavors of your wine but don't want to spend $100 per glass, this is as close as you can get to hand blown glass. Great price, great quality! These are wonderful glasses to add to your wardrobe and not be ashamed to indulge even the most discerning drinker. They are not very deep and red glasses do not interfere with ventilation much, since the neck is relatively small in diameter. As such, you probably won't want to pour your big boy burgundy or first growth burgundy into them. But for a big dinner party with lots of drinkers and everyday use, it couldn't be better.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
