Great aquarium accents! At the moment I have more than 30 aquariums. I bought them to throw in a couple of Pleco tanks I have. I love them so much I just bought another set of three for some Anubias projects I'm working on for my African cichlids. They are just the right size for a nanocube aquarium, perfect for a 10 or 20 gallon aquarium, or as a secondary/additional focal point in a larger aquarium. One of them had quite a bit of tannin so I did a water change and boiled the wood before reinstalling. However, if you are building blackwater or need tannins for shrimp or others, this may help. Otherwise - just boil for a few minutes and you're done! One more note: I've bought wooden pieces online from other sources and I'm disappointed with the shape. Just a stump with a stick. The goal is to have something natural and fun to grow moss or other plants. They're great for that.
